Andrew Schmidt is the owner and founder of Iowa Senior Benefit Services, as well as a Medicare health plan and final expense insurance consultant. He has more than 17 years of experience in the insurance industry. Andrew is an expert in Medicare health plans and final expense insurance and has diverse experience in the insurance industry. He has held positions with several well-known insurance companies including John Hancock Financial Services, Allstate, Nationwide, and Athene. He has a passion for helping Iowa Seniors with their insurance needs through objective, honest recommendations.

Andrew earned his bachelor's degree in finance from the University of Iowa and his master's degree (MBA) in risk management from Walden University. He has earned both the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate in Insurance Accounting and Finance (AIAF) designations. Andrew is a native Iowan and resides in Clive with his wife and three children. He is an active volunteer in the community through his church and youth sports.
